На должность главы Центрального района Твери назначен Алексей Огоньков, ранее занимавший должность генерального директора ОАО «Птицефабрика Верхневолжская». До поста главы района Твери Алексей Огоньков возглавлял Торгово-промышленную палату Костромской области, избирался депутатом Государственный Думы РФ, а также руководил отделом Управления делами Аппарата Государственной Думы.
