Разработка нового отечественного лимузина для первых лиц страны обойдется государству в 12 млрд рублей. Первые прототипы автомобиля появятся в 2014-2015 годах.
Об этом сообщил вице-премьера Аркадий Дворкович. Проект «Кортеж» предусматривает не только создание автомобиля, но и создание машин сопровождения, в том числе седанов, минивэнов и внедорожников. На проект уже выделено 700 миллионов рублей, а всего он может обойтись в 12 миллиардов.
С местом, где будут размещены производственные мощности, пока нет ясности. Предполагается, что это будет ЗИЛ, но в настоящее время он не обладает необходимыми мощностями для осуществления этого проекта.
Лимузин планируется выпускать под маркой ЗИЛ, а вот с автомобилями сопровождения пока нет ясности, в качестве вариантов предлагают бренды Marussia и Русс-оБалт, существовавший в начале 20 века.
