В Тюмени завершился турнир по спортивным бальным танцам «Золотые ворота Сибири 2013», в рамках которого прошли чемпионаты мира по версии IDSA (International Dance Sport Association) во всех возрастных группах, а также Кубок Распутина.

Пара из Твери Арсен Агамалян и Оксана Васильева, недавно одержавшая победу на чемпионате Европы по версии WDC (World Dance Council), поднялась на вторую ступень пьедестала почета соревнований по латиноамериканскому шоу среди профессионалов.

Арсен и Оксана уступили лишь представителям США Максиму Кожевникову и Анастасии Григорьевой, опередив дуэты из Германии, Украины, Италии и России.

Как отмечает портал dancesport.ru, турнир «Золотые ворота Сибири» оказался привлекательным для сильнейших танцоров из разных стран мира не только из-за приличного призового фонда, но и того факта, что практически в каждой возрастной категории в судейскую коллегию входил только один российский судья. Беспристрастное международное судейство — залог успеха многих международных состязаний.
